FAST TRACK WALKER LEARNING - Years 3 to 6

Fast Track PD's are ideal if you are commencing at a Walker Learning school or have moved into a different year level and are required to implement Walker Learning in 2023. This session outlines the key elements of Walker Learning from years 3 – 6 including:

• focus students and tuning in systems
• communication boards in action
• the learning environments
• class meetings, clinic groups and aspects of education research projects are all demonstrated on this day

Resources, fact sheets and texts are also discussed and available to support the transition into Walker Learning.

This PD session is suitable for teachers in Years 3 to 6 new to the Walker Learning approach or changing from lower year levels, as well as those wanting to refine and clarify practice.

Australian Professional Teaching Standards: APTS –1.1,1.2,1.5,3.5,4.1,4.2,6.2

This session is scheduled during an after-hours timeslot to assist with staff release for PD and not having to arrange backfill. Additional resources and reading material are provided so as to ensure the content delivered is equivalent to our other scheduled Fast Track (3-6) sessions.
