Start earning your digital credentials and showcase your verified skills and achievements.

Early Life Foundations and Walker Learning’s Digital Credentials are verified digital badges and micro-credentials that enable you to easily communicate your Certification and Accreditation achievements in play and inquiry-based learning. All our credentials are authenticated by Early Life Foundations and Walker Learning and include verified metadata describing the type of achievement and the process required to earn it.

Our digital badges can be added to email signatures, school websites, teacher/leadership profiles, digital documents, and social media platforms, serving as an excellent means to showcase the expertise of teachers, leaders, and your school in the developmentally appropriate pedagogy of Walker Learning to both your community and colleagues.

You can earn a credential by participating in our professional development program and completing a modular pathway of professional learning. If you are working toward Accreditation, you will also receive personalised coaching and need to provide evidence of the implementation of Walker Learning in your classroom and/or school.

Frequently Asked Questions.

How does my credential get displayed as a badge?

Early Life Foundations and Walker Learning have partnered with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a badge, issued and managed through Early Life Foundation’s digital badging platform. The technology Credly uses is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share and verify your competencies digitally.

What are the benefits of earning and displaying a badge?

Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real-time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of.

Is there a fee to use our digital badges?

No. Displaying, sharing, and managing your badge(s) is a service we provide to you, at no cost.

How do you stop someone else from copying and using my badge?

While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.

Where and how can I share my badge?

You can share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; over email; embed in a website or in your email signature.

To share your badge:

  • Log into your Credly account
  • Select the badge you would like to share
  • At the top of the page, select the “Share” button
  • You will be brought to the “Share Badge” screen where you can find different tabs directing you to connect your social media accounts and share your badge
  • Once your social media account is connected, just click “Share” to share your digital badge

What if I don't have a Credly account?

When you earn your first badge through Early Life Foundations and Walker Learning you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up your Credly account.

You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account if this is your first badge.

Can I download and print my badge as a certificate?
